 Prayer

For God so loved world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life, John 3:16. Romans 10:17 says faith comes by hearing, hearing by word of God. It is then important for people need to hear so that they can confess as written in Romans 10:9, if you confess with your mouth Lord Jesus believe in your heart that God has raised Him from dead; you will be saved.
In Matthew 18:19 it is written again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven”. “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, works that I do he will do also; greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father, John 14:12. “Now this is confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us”, 1John 5:14.
In James 5:14-16 it is also written, is anyone among you sick? Let him call for elders of church, let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in name of Lord. And prayer of faith will save sick, Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
